Wembury Bay is an excellent place for exploring by water, a sea cave east of Wembury Beach, and a paddle out and around the Mewstone makes for an awesome experience on a suitable day. Wembury Sailing Club has an active membership that organise adhoc daytrips from the beach, so you could tie in with someone with local knowledge. Kayaks and SUPs can be man hauled to the water line at Wembury Beach, trolley recommended, though there are also some steps. A step free route is possible by parking at the church, and progressing down the valley, but check that route out first before committing.
